PawCast: Life as the Nittany Lion (Part 2)

In the new episode of PawCast we continue to chat with Chuck Kimble, a Penn State alum who represented the University as the Nittany Lion mascot for two years. Listen as Chuck shares some more of his most memorable moments from his time in the Lion suit.

In the exciting second half of his interview, Chuck talks about the importance of both improvisation and choreography during events, and how he got into the mindset of the Lion before facing a cheering crowd. You will also hear about the Lion’s trademark one-armed pushups and some of Chuck’s other favorite traditions and gestures.

Chuck also discusses his experience facing off with a chipmunk during a home football game, trying out for the position, the various events and activities he attended, and what his children think of him having been the Lion. Check out a brief clip from the episode below.
