World Campus to Offer New Bachelor’s in HDFS Program

A new program will soon be available to students who want to further their education in human development. The College of Health and Human Development will offer a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State World Campus beginning in fall 2013.

Current associate and certificate students in HDFS will be able to apply their credits to the bachelor’s program. This could be a great next step for HDFS students who want to continue their studies.

The bachelor’s degree in HDFS is a multidisciplinary program that examines the development of individuals and families across the life span. The program prepares students for professional roles in the health and human services field or for advanced professional or graduate study.
