Finding University Libraries Materials in Google Scholar

How it Works

Set up Your Search

  1. Visit Google Scholar
  2. Before you begin your search, edit your Settings (at the top of the page).
  3. On the settings page, select Library Links.
  4. Type “Pennsylvania State University” in the search bar and run your search.
  5. In the results, check the box next to Pennsylvania State University – Get It! @ Penn State and select Save.

Look for Penn State Links in Search Results

When you scroll through the Google Scholar results page for your search, you will find the “Get It! @ Penn State” link for items that are owned by Penn State University Libraries:

These will take you to the Get It! page on the Penn State Libraries website, where you can find a list of resources.  Click on the Article link to access your resource directly.
