Beginning with registration for the spring 2014 semester, veteran students will be eligible for priority registration. Veterans who have been honorably discharged from all branches of the U.S. military will qualify.

Priority registration allows eligible students to register for courses earlier than other students. For the spring 2014 semester, priority registration will begin on October 10.

Eligible students must request priority registration in advance from the Office of Veterans Programs. To request priority registration, complete and submit a Veterans Priority Registration form along with a copy of your DD 214 document with the Member 4 copy (indicating the character of discharge). You can submit your form and document to via fax to 814-865-3815 or via email to ovp@psu.edu. You will be notified via email when you have been approved for priority registration.

To be eligible for priority registration as a veteran, you must have been honorably discharged and must have completed a period of active duty other than solely for training. Reservists must have participated in a deployment. Active duty service members who have completed their initial obligated service should send a letter from their command stating that they have completed their initial obligated service along with their dates of service.

All eligible veterans are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and request priority registration. Contact the Office of Veterans Programs for more information.
