Tucker, age 9, performs “Boom Boom Pow” by the Black Eyed Peas for more than 15,000 people at the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON) in February 2010. Tucker was diagnosed with cancer at age 2 but has been cancer-free for nearly three years.
In 2010, THON — one of Penn State’s greatest and most unifying traditions — raised a record-breaking $7,838,054.36 to help The Four Diamonds Fund conquer childhood cancer at Penn State Children’s Hospital!
Behind Tucker are his adoptive organization’s dancers, who were standing strong for 46 hours in support of Tucker and other families battling pediatric cancer.
