Wellness Week Activities and Events

As we head into the end of the semester and prepare for upcoming final exams, Penn State World Campus Student Affairs encourages you to make your mental health and well-being a priority.

To promote that goal, we invite you to join us for a fun week of activities and challenges starting on Sunday, April 14. These events are designed to help you feel your best so you can do your best. Participants will have the chance to win World Campus items.

The themes for each day of Wellness Week are:

  • April 14: Self-Care Sunday
  • April 15: Mindful Monday
  • April 16: Tasty Tuesday
  • April 17: Wellness Wednesday
  • April 18: Tranquil Thursday
  • April 19: Feel Good Friday
  • April 20: Sleep Well Saturday

Among the events planned for that week are Quick, Balanced Meals on a Budget Cooking Demonstration and Nutrition Tips — hosted by The Wellness Kitchenista, Jessica DeLuise, PA-C, CCMS — and a guided meditation session led by Marly Doty, director of World Campus Student Affairs.

In addition to joining these scheduled activities, you can watch for a prompt on our social media channels and participate in an interactive experience on the Goosechase app (see instructions below).

Instructions for using the Goosechase app

Some of the Wellness Week activities will take place in the Goosechase app. Follow these steps to participate there:

  1. Download the Goosechase iOS or Android app.
  2. Log in. New to Goosechase? Sign up for an account or participate as a guest.
  3. Search for this Experience by code PSUWorldCampus
  4. Create a profile. Some profiles require a passcode!
  5. Lastly, set yourself apart with a name and photo.
