World Campus Students Have Free Access to Headspace Care

Penn State World Campus students now have free access to Headspace Care services to support mental health and wellness. Thanks to a partnership coordinated by World Campus Student Affairs, students can use the Headspace Care app and virtual mental health services at no cost for a year.

World Campus previously had a partnership with Ginger Behavioral Health, which is now part of Headspace. This new partnership with Headspace provides students with access to Headspace Care’s global on-demand services, including one-on-one mental health coaching for a year from the date of referral and full access to Headspace Care app content, mental health support, and concierge support that can be used for service coordination and transition support. Students may also receive a limited number of free virtual clinical support services, if recommended by Headspace Care clinicians.

Headspace Care services are available in more than 50 countries worldwide, which means many of our international students will be able to take advantage of most of these resources (certain services are available only to users in the United States).

To request access to this service, schedule a meeting with a Penn State World Campus Mental Health Case Manager online using WCCMforms as the passcode. During your meeting, the case manager will connect you directly with Headspace Care, eliminating the need for you to self-register.
