The Career Services team at Penn State World Campus has created a new series of videos that provide internship advice from Penn State students who have successfully completed internships.
The series includes 11 short videos, each less than three minutes long. The students share many valuable insights, including:
- how an internship can benefit your academic and/or professional career
- tips for finding internship opportunities that align with your interests or goals
- strategies to help you stand out among the pool of candidates
Some of the advice is directed specifically at those who are doing or seeking virtual internships. The students also discuss steps they took before, during, and after their internships to make the most of the experience.
